Why Listen To That Guy

This is a poem I wrote when I was 21, it is based on a true story. And is a reflection of where my mind was at the time. I was a very cynical person when it comes to love. Also at the time my partner and I both had a sketchy past and sketchier values. We had started of as friends so we knew the juice on each other’s past. Anyway TMI ,enough background story. Just listen. Side note this recording was made in one go and I didn’t refine it. Sooo don’t judge . Let’s call this a trial episode
