Hello hello! Sunday 10th September 2023 marks the two year anniversary of the daring, original and suspenseful horror/thriller MALIGNANT from the mind of James Wan. To coincide with this momentous occasion David has dug back into the archives to bring you the until now unreleased episode of Why We Love... where David and guest co-host Aria delve deep into this mindf*ck of a movie. "WHY WE LOVE" IS BACK BABYYYYY! Join your fearless hosts David and Joanne as they let out a long sigh and resign themselves to talking about one of the most unnecessary, disappointing and severely narratively disjointed films of the year. David is frustrated by the lack of narrative thrust and wishes that he'd just watched Black Christmas (2019) again. Joanne is confused by the poor writing and all the themes that are brought up and not used in any meaningful way. Ultimately we found the film disappointing and resorted to doing something we hoped we'd never do... give a film a real good kicking. We're sorry. #BidenHarris2020

David Watts and Moxie McMurder aim to review Maps To The Stars this week... they try valiantly to do so before realising that even though the film is brilliant it's damn near impossible to talk about coherently. Things go off the rails this week as your hosts talk about Harry Potter, J.K Rowling, Stephen King, Five Nights At Freddy's, The Mummy Returns, Dwayne Johnson, Fast and Furious 5, the uncanny valley and Moxie makes a valiant attempt to name The Kardashians! To mark the passing of director Joel Schumacher, David Watts and Moxie McMurder dive deep into what could be one of the worst films ever made as they review Batman & Robin. David laments about how physically exhausting it is to watch this film while Moxie rages about Mr Freeze's ice-based puns. Do we have anything good to say about this film? Of course! Moxie waxes lyrical about Poison Ivy and her drag queen-esque performance, while David asserts that this Bane is superior to the Bane from the Nolan-verse. And if that wasn't enough we uncover the secrets that Alfred tried to hide!! Buckle up and strap on!
