Wrestling Observer Live, Dec 14th

Andrew Zarian is back with another Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Live, talking about the latest wrestling news. This week's major news revolves around the retirement of John Cena, whose final match took place Saturday night on Saturday Night's Main Event. I offered a detailed show review and shared my reaction to the controversial decision to have him lose his final match, debating whether it was the right choice given the immediate fan outrage that followed. Also, I talk about the rest of the card and the decision to have a DQ finish between Cody Rhodes and Oba Femi. This is a crutch WWE relies on too much. I discuss other ways they could have handled this match. Plus, a review of AEW Collision, thoughts on who's going to win the Continental Classic, and the pending return of a big star this week. All this and more!

Wrestling Observer Live, Nov 30th

Andrew Zarian is back with another episode of Wrestling Observer Live Sunday Edition, talking about the latest wrestling news stories. This week, I break down Saturday night's Survivor Series War Games and discuss the highs and lows. Both War Games matches had their problems, even though there were some memorable spots. The highlight of the show was John Cena vs. Dominik Mysterio, which saw the return of Liv Morgan in a highly entertaining, overbooked match. I also talk about the Continental Classic current standings and the confusion between the Continental and International titles. Also, who should be in the finals at the end? Plus, Claudio Castagnoli wins CMLL Gold, Kenny Omega's booking, and Jushin Thunder Liger makes an indie appearance. All this and more!

The Big Vinny V Show, Nov 18th

After a month off, TNA wrestling returned to action and immediately kneecapped their biggest hero. Mike Santana shockingly dropped the TNA world championship on their first live show after he won the title, in an unadvertised match, after a gang of NXT benchwarmers invaded the show. Between a new episode of Impact and the Turning Point app special the next night, TNA's world changed. What led to the angle? What might have inspired it? Did it work, and where do they go from here? It's not all doom and gloom, though--a recent WWE release reunites with some old friends and helps put on one of TNA's best matches all year. There's a lot to cover on the latest Big Vinny V Show!
