The newest episode of the WyoNation.com podcast is live for action! This week we got to talk to former Casper Star-Tribune beat writer Ryan Thorburn, who currently covers the Oregon Ducks beat. We talked to Ryan about his Wyoming roots, covering the Cowboys, his three books that he’s authored, and a little bit about the Ducks! For those of you who don’t know, Ryan authored three books about Wyoming athletics. The first book he wrote, Black 14 tells the history of the infamous Black 14 incident that happened during the Lloyd Eaton era of Wyoming football. The second book, called Lost Cowboys, covers the rise and eventual demise of Wyoming baseball. The third book, Cowboy Up, tells the history of Wyoming basketball and covers some of the life of legendary Cowboy Kenny Sailors. This podcast was very engaging and Ryan’s knowledge of Wyoming athletics made for some great conversation.
