Episode 41: NBSee US . . . No?

Our coverage of the pilot pick ups continues with NBC. There are a few projects that we are pretty excited about. NBC was one of our favorite networks when we were kids and we are pulling for it to make a comeback. Ratings for the network have been kinda low, so they could use a hit. We’re calling this episode, “NBSee US! No? You have to say it with a bit of an accent for it to be effective. We have fond memories of seeing the network’s promos for the Fall season. What were your favorite network promos or did you even take note of them when you were a kid? Enjoy! photo credit: twm1340 via photopin cc photo credit: trainman74 via photopin cc photo credit: kenjisama via photopin cc photo credit: Thomas Hawk via photopin cc

Episode: 40: We’ll Always Have Venice!

Welcome, We continue our pilot pick up confab this week, focusing on the original sitcoms from Amazon Studios. This is the first time that we will be reviewing a streaming service. Were you one of the many people whose eyes were bloodshot after watching ‘House of Cards?’ If the people at Amazon have their way, your going to be logging in many hours of viewing time once their sitcoms are posted. At least they hope so. Will they be successful? Only time will tell. Until then, let’s take a look at the various pilots that Amazon has in the works.

YouTube Original Channels: A Chat with Journalist, Sam Gutelle

Are you one of the millions of people who find yourself falling down that endless rabbit hole called, YouTube? If so, this week’s podcast is for you. We LOVE YouTube and wanted to learn more about it. We had questions, like, what’s up with these original channels that Google has invested in so heavily? How did it all begin? What are some of the top original channels and why are they doing so well? In order to get answers, we called in a special guest to help answer some of our many questions, Tubefilter.com journalist, Sam Gutelle. Being the YouTube pro that he is, hopefully he can shine a light on those Russian car crash videos as well. Enjoy!

Kids and the Biz: Meet Diane Krausz

Hello Everyone and thank you for checking in on the podcast! In this week's show we take a look at child labor laws and the entertainment industry. Over the years a number of our friends and relatives have asked us various questions about children working in show business. Questions such as, "Should I sign this contract?" "Do they need a permit for this or that?" "Am I allowed to see what my child is doing while they are on set?" We are always happy to answer what we can, but having an entertainment lawyer on the program who can help create a go-to-show for those times when we are not able to answers specific questions is a good thing. Enter entertainment attorney Diane Krausz!

Updated
