On Easter Sunday evening, we celebrate the truth that changed everything: Hope lives. In Luke 23:50–24:12, we move from the silence of the tomb to the shock of resurrection. What seemed like the end—the lifeless body of Jesus laid in a grave—becomes the beginning of new life for the world.
In this message, Robin Vonk will walk us through the discovery of the empty tomb. The women come grieving, only to be met with angelic words that ignite hope: “He is not here; He has risen!” The resurrection of Jesus isn’t just a miraculous event—it’s the assurance that sin has been defeated, death has lost its sting, and the promises of God stand forever.
This is the heart of the gospel: Jesus died in our place to take away our sin, and He rose again to give us life. Because He lives, we are not defined by failure, fear, or the grave—we are invited into a living hope that will never perish.
