"The sun comes through the leaves in pieces, slow shifting fragments that move across your skin like something deliberate. The air smells of warm grass and blooming, that specific fullness of spring when everything is happening at once.

Pollen drifts through the light, weightless, golden, the leaves quietly dancing.

Birds in the canopy. Voices not close enough to make out, just the shape of people being easy with each other, flowing past like part of the same current.

The specific gravity and warm energy of another being, close.

Three hours passing, or maybe more. Your breathing has slowed to match something you can't name but can feel.

You are not waiting for anything. Just here, inside this particular moment. Which turns out to be everything."
