The Power of Our Words

 Matthew 15:18 But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these things defile a man.
God did not leave us without instructions, He's given us His Word and as His children, we’re led by His Spirit. However, we cannot be led by the Spirit of God unless we’re able to hear His voice and we cannot hear His voice unless we’re listening. But if we’re talking when we should be listening, we will not hear His instructions. At one time or another most  of us have trouble controlling our tongue, doing more speaking than listening. So today we’re going to see what the Word of God has to say on the subject of our mouths, the ultimate purpose for our mouths, how they’re connected to our hearts and how God ordained that we should use them.
