Waiting On God Only

Psalm 62
1 My soul waits in silence for God only; From Him is my salvation. 2He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken.5 My soul, wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be shaken.
In today’s microwave generation, we don’t want to wait on anything. We’re all about fast food, fast communication, and fast travel, but God’s word promises amazing benefits from the discipline of “waiting.” But while we’re waiting on God, He’s waiting on us, to trust Him, recognizing His sovereignty, His timing and most of all, He’s waiting on us to recognize our complete and total dependence upon Him and Him alone!
