There's a thin line between influence and manipulation: it comes down to intention. Too many people are trying to manipulate others into paying them rather than focusing on bringing value. I used to do the same thing without realizing it. See, if I genuinely believe that I am doing right by a prospect, a friend, or even my wife, and I'm 100% committed to delivering on whatever I'm selling (yes, even friends and family), we call that influence. I'm invoking action out of others to help move them forward toward their targets. Manipulation, which is far too common, is used for selfish reasons. It invokes action, but from a standpoint that serves you instead of your target. Don't be the guy chasing the money, manipulating others, and trying to get the next buck. Bring value and the money will come after. ---- To spread this movement, share #RiseOrDie with friends and family, and make sure you subscribe on iTunes and YouTube.
